Plot summary

The 29 May 3151, Jack Traver and Mia Fowler drank in a bar on Toledo. After the end of the IlClan Trial, they hadn't been able to leave Terra, and the news of Devlin Stone's death deeply affected them. When some ex-RAF soldiers recognized them, called them traitors and attacked them in group. However, when they going to kill them, a group of Wolf Elementals intervened in the fight and saved them. Their saviors invited them to drink, and both accepted. When shared their problems with the Wolves, they informed them both than they only had to use their affiliation to Clan Wolf to obtain what they needed. The 1 June, both friends were in a Clan Sea Fox salvage facility. Jack choose a Clan Jade Falcon's Dire Wolf as isorla, and Mia, after seeing a intact Atlas II, choosed it for herself. A day later, Justin hall, former Knight of the Republic, visited them and asked them to allow them to join them. In exchange, he offered them their services and talents as agent... and said to know a way to obtain a great deal of money. The way implied a meeting with a MI6 agent which made himself call Weatherbee. He gave them a packet of intel he had been stockpiling for fifteen years, whilst trapped behind the Wall, promising them a huge reward if they gave it to a Federated Suns' embassy, and also a deadly punishment if they didn't deliver it. The 6 June, the three were, with their two 'Mechs, onboard a Sea Fox DropShip, departing from Terra. Mia informed Jack and Justin than she had uncovered than her Atlas II was Phantom, Devlin Stone's personnal 'Mech. The 9 July, the trio arrived to Galatea, but they expectatives to find a mercenary unit to enlist failed, as the planet was filled with ex-RAF soldiers. So Jack decided to form their own merc unit. After delivering the package into the Federated Suns' embassy, they negotiated with a Suns' agent, convincing her. After securing a deal, all three debated which name to give at their unit, and Jack, in memory of their lost friend, choose the name: The Cheetahs.
