The Paulus Prime system was home to at least one habitable world and as of 3152 was located in the Republic of the Barrens.[1][2][3]

System Description[edit]

The Paulus Prime system is located near the Crellacor and Gustrell systems.[1][2]

System History[edit]

The Paulus Prime system was either colonized during Star League era at some point after the end of the Reunification War by the Rim Worlds Republic, or was an already-inhabited system that became significant enough to be recorded on maps by Inner Sphere nations at some point during this era.[4][5][6]

Planetary History[edit]

Clan Invasion[edit]

Paulus Prime was invaded on September 3049 by Clan Wolf's 341st Assault Cluster. The defending Paulus Guards were caught completely by surprise at the Mannington Dwells and most surrendered or were killed in the opening moments of the attack.[21]

On February 18, 3050, ilKhan Leo Showers held a kurultai or Grand Council meeting aboard the WarShip Dire Wolf as it orbited Paulus Prime. The other Khans of the Invading Clans gathered to discuss what they had learned during the conquest of the Periphery worlds so far and to debate strategies for the next phase of Operation REVIVAL.[34]

After the death of ilKhan Leo Showers, all the Bloodnamed Clan Warriors in the Inner Sphere met at Paulus Prime on December 1, 3050 to begin their journey back to the Clan Homeworlds to elect a new ilKhan.[35]

Jihad[edit]

Clan Hell's Horses took Paulus Prime from Clan Wolf during the first two weeks of December 3070, making it the third world to have been taken from the Wolves by the Horses since the Horses' reappearance in the Inner Sphere.[27] By 3085 however the Horses had withdrawn from the system. Paulus Prime later became part of the Republic of the Barrens.[32]
