History
Pfeister's Furies was a mercenary combined-arms regiment, decimated by the Lyran Commonwealth forces on Zdice in 3027. Following the Fourth Succession War the unit entered Free Worlds League service, which hints that the raid on Zdice was done under Draconis Combine contract (as the attack is prior to the Death to Mercenary order from Takashi Kurita). At some time between the end of the Fourth Succession War and 3059 the unit becomes an official FWLM regiment that is allowed to maintain their pre-FWLM composition and assigned to the 1st Atrean Dragoons.[1]

A full armor regiment, supported by a battalion of mechanized infantry and two lances of BattleMechs. The two lances cause friction with the commander of the 1st Atrean Dragoons, the unit to which they are attached, but the Furies' charter allows them to retain their pre-FWLM composition.
