Randal's Wreckers were a mercenary unit consisting of at least one company of BattleMechs.
History
At an unspecified point in time after 3023[1] and implicitly prior to the Clan Invasion[2] they took a contract with a planetary noble on an unspecified world. The objective was a raid against a contested ammunition factory that was defended by the Tikonov Rangers, a similar mercenary unit that the Wreckers were very familiar with.[3]
Both sides called in reinforcements, and the fight escalated into a company vs. company battle where both sides attempted to either seize the factory, or at least enforce a draw by destroying the factory and thus denying it to the enemy.[4] The outcome was not described.

Composition
The full company-sized force of Randal's Wreckers that ultimately attacked the factory was composed as follows:[4]
- Battle Lance
- WHM-6R Warhammer
- HCT-3F Hatchetman
- BL-7-KNT Black Knight
- CN9-AL Centurion
- Cavalry Lance
- FS9-H Firestarter
- JVN-10N Javelin
- CLNT-2-3T Clint
- COM-2D Commando
- Fire Lance
The initial attack on the factory was carried out by a single lance composed of the Marauder, Hatchetman, Firestarter, and (notably) a WHM-6D Warhammer[3] that did not take part in the escalated battle,[4] suggesting it was destroyed in the initial action. They faced a virtually identical lance from the Tikonov Rangers.[3]
A second Marauder and a second Firestarter may have been involved in the first battle on the Wreckers' side,[5] but like the Wreckers' -6D Warhammer these 'Mechs did not appear in the later, bigger battle. It is unclear if these 'Mechs were part of the unit or possibly contributed by their employer or another mercenary unit, or if they were even actually present. If they took part in the first fight, it stands to reason they could not fight in the larger subsequent battle because they had been destroyed.
