Reginald Rosseter was a notable tank company commander in the Third Ceti Hussars.[1]
History[edit]
During a raid against the Draconis Combine world of Weisau, Captain Rosseter's company of medium tanks found themselves separated from the rest of the Third Ceti Hussars. With no supplies for long-term operations and no way to contact help, Rosseter enacted a plan to either acquire a means of calling for reinforcements or to cause as much chaos as possible for the Combine. After dispatching his supporting infantry on numerous reconnaissance missions, Rosseter marked three nearby villages and a Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery BattleMech service outpost as targets for armored assaults. The DCMS outpost fell before it could call for aid, the first village was taken by surprise during a night assault, and the last two villages were captured by Rosseter's combined arms tactics. After the fall of the final village, Rosseter used a captured long-range communications facility to signal a Third Hussars DropShip for evac, enabling his forces to escape Weisau.[1]
