History[edit]
Shteysel was an Inner Sphere native of the Rasalhague Dominion, where she was trained as a freeborn MechWarrior, and passed her initial Trial of Position. Smuggling herself out of that Clan hybrid state shortly after, on a merchant freighter heading to the Draconis Combine, she eventually found her way to Galatea.
After working for a time in a Galatea City dive bar, she was identified by a Swordsworn hiring agent, and hired as a MechWarrior. Serving in the Ghost Legion's Attack Lance under the command of Gary Metcalf as of 3133, Shteysel continuously proved her worth to the Swordsworn using her aggressive close range combat style.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Shteysel was known to have piloted a Sphinx BattleMech, serial number NC101-54B, nicknamed "Smokey". Manufactured for Clan Nova Cat, this 'Mech was captured from a Nova Cat enclave, by the Swordsworn shortly after their formation.[1]
