Robert Kelswa-Steiner

Robert Kelswa-Steiner (Born 3034) - House Steiner nobleman, Free Skye Separatist leader, Politician, and Duke of Porrima & later Skye.

Character Profile

Robert Steiner was a ambitious Politician, whom was son of rebellious House Steiner Duke, Ryan Steiner. The young man grew up sharing his father ambitions to gain power. After his father's assassination in 3056, he cultivated the leadership position among the members of the Free Skye movement. His movement threaten stablity of the Commonwealth when he assumed power. By 3062, at dawn of the FedCom Civil War, Robert had stirr nationlist feelings his old Isle of Skye to bring about the more solid rebellion against Archon-Princess Katrina Steiner-Davion. After the attack and annexation of the Lyon Thumb region by the Draconis Combine, played in Robert's favor.

In 3065 Robert married heir to Skye Province and Skye, Hermione Aten, becoming the Duke-consort of Skye. However, for time he and Katrina Steiner-Davion had politically dancing around one another since the beginning of the Civil War. He had blocked, Victor Steiner-Davion from using any of his worlds for his war against his sister. He however, had caused enough rebellious antics that he arrested on order of Archon-Princess. This played into Robert's plans to stir more rebellious acts, as he was taken to prison on Donegal.

After his imprisonment, rebellion moved to new phase with many planets declaring their support for Robert's Free Skye. His former Chief of Staff, John Claverhouse Dundee, becomes the General of the Armies of Skye.
