Lieutenant Rotem Fridberg was a MechWarrior, serving with a Northwind Fusiliers Assault Lance, during the Dark Age Era.[1][2]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Fridberg was bald, with hazel eyes, and a compact muscular frame.[1]
History[edit]
Born on Northwind to parents of mixed Lyran and Clan heritage, Fridberg had a keen intellect, to match his physical strengths. With a primary loyalty to the Northwind Highlanders despite his parentage, Fridberg was a part time member of the Northwind militia before the Blackout, and he subsequently answered Countess Tara Campbell's call to arms.[1] As of 3132, Fridberg was a member of an Assault Lance within the Northwind Fusiliers, commanded by Eriabee Childs. His other Lancemates included Chas Kearns and Fabian Domel.[3]
Fighting with the Northwind Fusiliers and later the Republic Remnant with Tara Campbell for 20 years, he finally met an ignominious end on Callison in 3149 during the fighting against Jonah Levin's taskforce, which had been sent to reincorporate the Remnant forces into Devlin Stone's Republic of the Sphere.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Fridberg was known to have piloted a Kodiak BattleMech, serial number GB671-74L, nicknamed "Lost Cub" after its Clan origins. Built for Clan Ghost Bear prior to the formation of the Rasalhague Dominion, it was nearly destroyed during an engagement on Cebalrai, before being later repaired by Clan Technicians with Stone's Coalition. Forming part of the Highlander Republic militia following the Word of Blake Jihad as a Kodiak 4 model, it was later upgraded to Kodiak II specifications.[1][2]
