Helga Bauer would retire as Captain-Marshal of the Hanseatic Defense Force in 3135, Schmidt would succeed her.[1]

After the Hanseatic Crusade and the absorption of the Hanseatic League, he would be appointed as a Star Colonel to Hellion Keshik within the Empire's Hellion Galaxy.
