History
The DropShip Rum Runner is a heavily modified Seleucus with murky origins. Intelligence from the Duchy of Tamarind-Abbey points to Lyran Commonwealth origins, while the Lyran Commonwealth thinks is a League deception. There is a third theory also pointing to the dropship originating from the long-dead Circinus Federation. Its pirate crew seems to be taking advantage of the unrest between Tamarind-Abbey and the Lyran Commonwealth.
The ship has been seen engaging in piracy and smuggling on several worlds in the anti-spinward border of the Duchy of Tamarind-Abbey, particularly on the Southwest Trinity Worlds, although rumor indicates it has operated in the coreward parts of the Timbuktu Theater as well. The pirate's tactics are so that the DropShip is commonly used to drop battle armor and fast vehicles near a valuable target, to see then the pirates steal cargo and quickly load it on the DropShip to smuggle to another planet.[1]
