Ivanovich spoke Inner Sphere English with an accent, having been quoted regarding the interchangeability of BattleMech parts as saying "Davion components. Capellan components. All same. Made in Free Worlds League!".[2]

Schwerer Gustav[edit]
The Chief Technician of the Tooth of Ymir during the early 3070s, it was rumored the Schwerer Gustav FrankenMech was developed due to a bet Ivanovich had with Kell Hounds technical chief Daniel Holstein that he could get the discarded wreak of a salvaged Wolf's Dragoons Annihilator operational in less than six months. The barroom wager gained a life of its own after Grand Duke Morgan Kell heard of the plans and provided access to a number of experimental weapons systems, which helped Ivanovich to complete his task within two months.
For winning the bet, beyond bragging rights and praise from his superiors, Ivanovich won six cases of Lachan County Ale.[1]
Mangonel[edit]
Following the success of the Schwerer Gustav, Ivanovich and Holstein also cooperated on the design of the later MNL-3L Mangonel, which entered into production in 3078 at the behest of Clan Wolf-in-Exile Khan Phelan Kell.[3][4]
