Takiro Ikeda was an officer of the Black Widow Company.[1]
History[edit]
He presented himself volunteer to join the Black Widow Company and gained a promotion to lieutenant. Though several Dragoons considered him an ambitious soldier, the years of fighting have proven him a talented pilot and battlefield commander and erased that feeling on others.[1]
He participated during the combat drop the Black Widow Company made to attack New Delos and capture Anton Marik,[2] and was still in the unit in 3025.[1]
He fought with the rest of the Dragoons' on Misery, Glenmora, and Crossing.[3]
After the size reduction of Wolf's Dragoons, his options to be promoted to command a company were reduced as majors ended up commanding them.[3]
When the unit was reorganized in 3031, he was given the rank of captain and second-in-command of the unit, and assigned to Natasha Kerensky's own lance.[4]
When the unit was recalled to the Dragoon homeworld of Outreach in 3035 and ordered to provide training for other Dragoon units for the following seven years, he did not like his prospects of promotion after the reorganization (to mimic Clan standards) and transferred to the rebuilding Gamma Regiment.[5]

- Ikeda piloted an ARC-2R Archer.[1]
- He shifted to a Panther prior to the Fourth Succession War.[3]
- He piloted a Shogun when he was made Captain.[4]
