Clean-up

This page needs heavy work in the category of grammar and diction.— The preceding unsigned comment was posted by 76.191.206.51 (talkcontribs) 05:05, 24 March 2010 .

like many other pages, no need to throw insults around randomly!RagTag 10:42, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, Ragtag. And, 76.191.206.51, BTW improves when people actually make improvements to the article. Sardonic comments in the summary line could do harm, if our quality of Editors were affected by them. Looking forward to your use of grammar or diction skills in a positive way.--Revanche (talk|contribs) 11:31, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
My bad, but I don't really consider saying that grammar needs improvement to be an insult. No harm was intended. I went ahead and updated the page myself, and I'll try to be more accommodating in the future.— The preceding unsigned comment was posted by Dervishx5 (talkcontribs) 23:55, 24 March 2010 .
I'm thinking now your summary line comment (not repeated here) was more in humor than with ill-will. But, please be aware we have a significant number of Editors that speak English as a 2nd language and their contributions have been incredibly helpful. Also, one of our most prolific American Editors does have trouble with his sentence structure, but he does a LOT of research and crafts other-wise great articles {ex: 52nd Shadow Division). I'd much rather come up behind him and improve a great article than not have the article in the first place. We tend to be very protective of those Editors actually making improvements to BTW over drive-by comments (which is known to happen).
But, to be clear: there is nothing wrong with suggesting clean-up of an article, for which we have the {{Cleanup}} template. No one should feel upset when that describes an article. We also recommend people seeing areas needing change to be bold and make the changes (as you have done already, both as an IP and a newly-registered Editor). Welcome aboard, and we look forward to other improvements you'll make. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 11:23, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
