December is a somewhat arbitrary date. I did my best to add up the time, though it was rather complicated to do so in later stages. However, nothing in the text indicated that it lasted through the new year, and the Babylon campaign section of Op Klondike mentions Rafe Kardaan as being back on planet at around that time to assist Windham Khatib.
