Multiple Names[edit]
In House Davion (Federated Suns), the Chesterton nation was referred to as the Chesterton Trade Worlds. In House Liao (The Capellan Confederation), the nation is referred by the article name, Chesterton Trade League. In more recent Handbook: House Davion, the the nation is called the Chesterton Trade Federation. What is the actual name of this or what name should we be going by? -- Wrangler 12:54, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
- I know this is not big issue, but I've asked the writers on Battletech Forums regarding this issue. They've cited to go by the newest name used. Which is Chesterton Trade Federation. Since the Handbook: House Liao is coming out to far future. I believe it would be prudent to hold off until published to find out Chesterton will be referred to as. - Reviving this over a decade later this is still all over the shop - Handbook: House Liao from 2011 uses Chesterton Trade League but Historical: Reunification War also 2011 is Chesterton Trade Federation, Field Report 2765 AFFS circa 2014 is Chesterton Trade Association, Field Report 2765 CCAF circa 2013 is Chesterton Trade League, Interstellar Operations circa 2016 is Chesterton Trade Federation but First Succession War also 2016 is Chesterton Trade League.Cyc (talk) 17:50, 9 April 2022 (EDT)
