Mixed Units[edit]

I have heard the terms "Mixed Trinary" and "Mixed Binary" used many times to describe units that use both Points and Stars so i figured i would put them in, if i am wrong and they are just called "Trinary" and "Binary" let me know and i will fix it. FellBlade 23:15, 4 May 2009 (PDT)

It's as you said, "Mixed Binary/Trinary" are descriptive terms, with no set definitions. Strategic Ops doesn't list the mixed symbology as official, so it might be an idea to drop them, and add a note to the Binary/Trinary section discussing mixed units. Good work on the rest of the symbols, BTW. Alkemita 07:03, 5 May 2009 (PDT)
how about plugging a {{cn}} tag on them?
What are we citing? The existence of Mixed Binaries and Trinaries, or the existence of the symbols used to represent them? If the former, I can give you lots of cites from the various Field Manuals. For the latter, Strategic Operations is the only CBT source I'm aware of that gives echelon symbols for Clan units, and it doesn't show the combined Nova/Star designators that FellBlade's created, hence my suggestion above to drop them and add a note about how a Trinary, for example, could include a Nova Alkemita 17:15, 5 May 2009 (PDT)

Ranks[edit]

I would like to do a Clan Rank table showing off the rank insignia and explaining the general chain of command for the Clans: should it be placed in this article?, if not what should the new article be called?FellBlade 16:24, 5 May 2009 (PDT)

"Clan Rank Structure" comes to mind Alkemita 17:11, 5 May 2009 (PDT)
FellBlade I've created a Military Ranks category which links to every rank I could find. The pages have rank insignia for each faction as well. I've also placed an updated Rank Equivalence Table on the Military Ranks page.--Mbear 17:32, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
