Battle Armor and Unit Structure[edit]
Hey ~ any insight into how ComStar and the WoB incorporated Battle Armor units into the organizational tables? Were they just like other infantry, or what? http://www.sarna.net/wiki/ComGuard#Structure_and_Composition ClanWolverine101 01:22, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
- By Level I's like other infantry, just a different number of troops make up each infantry Level I depending on their type, a standard infantry Level I is a platoon while a Battle Armor Level I is six troopers (originally four when the game rules didn't feature support for six troop BA squads). The infantry proportions and unit write-ups in Field Manual: ComStar don't break down into type (standard, motorized, mechanized and Battle Armor) so your free to load-up/down as much Battle Armor units as you want, Jihad sources indicate Com Guards increasingly favoring Battle Armor partly to keep their troops alive in more hostile battlefield. Correct name[edit]
What is the correct name of ComStar's military arm? On the Wiki is varies from page to page.. It even varies within this artice. ComGuard, Com Guard, ComGuards, Com Guards.. I am away from my books right now but I always thought it was ComGuard --Dmon 07:06, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
- The lastest sources like ER:3052, ER:3062 and JHS:Terra uses either Com Guard or Com Guards. Com Guards seems to be more common. FM:ComStar uses Com Guards, and so does ComStar sourcebook. --Neufeld 07:18, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
