This page is a stub; I'll flesh it out soon.--S.gage 16:17, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi s.gage, isn't that map copyrighted? -- Wrangler 19:39, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
The map from which all of the deep periphery maps have been derived is published in 1996 in Explorer Corps (sourcebook), on page 48, as is listed on the image's page. The image itself does list a copyright, but for the year 3058, which is clearly fictional. As for the book, I am uncertain of the distinction between images in one book (for example, Image:3025_warhammer.jpg) and this one. Should I refrain from adapting maps from this (or any other) book? Thanks--S.gage 20:47, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm not expert. So I wouldn't want to say. If people can put up imagines of BattleMechs, I would think it be okay. I'd ask Scaletail, he would be best person to ask until Rev comes back from vacation. -- Wrangler 21:53, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
All images are used under "fair use".— The preceding unsigned comment was posted by Scaletail (talkcontribs) 15:21, 22 August 2009.
Concur with Scaletail. We use plenty of official pictures here already. Would like to point out, too, that I'm just another Editor here, just like everyone else and my opinion holds the same weight as any active member. I just have the added responsibility, as do the other admins, for ensuring the site doesn't get sidetracked with vandalism or inconsistencies. The polices, as determined by everyone who weighs in and not, are the arbiters of what should and should not be posted here (and how).--Revanche (talk|contribs) 17:26, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
