- Normally I would agree with you as I think categories are more dynamic, but this is a way to "contain" a potential wave of edits Like the one done on the Awesome article yesterday where an annonymous IP added Randolph P. Checkers as a notable pilot. I created it last night and posted in the Facebook International group encouraging users to add their own names here and thus far have had at least one person reply and make their own character article for us. It is less than an ideal format and will require a lot of work but a category simply would not get people involved--Dmon (talk) 07:21, 21 October 2020 (EDT)

Remove those that aren't "found" yet
If a Person's character hasn't been "found" yet I feel we should just remove that person from the listing. - Helping people find their character is one of the primary purposes of this list, and the characters who have not been found.... Since the CGL website has not been updated since it was initially published... - And I REALLY do not like the idea of that Template:InfoBoxKSCharacter. I am of the opinion that the KS characters are to be treated the same as standard characters when it comes to format, this is to discourage Maxwell style vanity projects--Dmon (talk) 20:32, 30 August 2021 (EDT)
- The idea for that InfoBox is limited only to those characters that had been given only the information found on their pilot cards and the Recognition Guides by CGL for their canon characters. That way it becomes a lot easier for us to create pages that are only "canon" based on what is solely that. - Sorry to mistake you all like this but that infobox was started as one to replace the standard infobox for a canon character, however I changed direction and instead decided to make it a template you can use for pilot cards instead. I just haven't made the changes to it I need to yet, like having a different color and title. Mostly due things coming up IRL as it were. --Deadfire (talk) 00:17, 2 September 2021 (EDT)

- I was just looking through the edit history myself, as it rang a bell. Same name was removed without explanation back in November last year by User:MOREAutocannons, it could be somebody removing their own character or it could be a low-key personal attack (these things do happen sadly).
