Double Cover[edit]

I'm idiot. I didn't see the individual cover for issue one. I do think there should be something on top thou. -- Wrangler (talk) 09:25, 30 May 2020 (EDT)

I was going to ask you about that.. I was actually just looking at both files trying to figure out if they are different! I was following the template of the BattleTechnology article with issue art being next to the issue (looks a bit bare now but will make sense when we have more issues). On the subject of having something upto I agree, I was thinking of cropping the image to just show the title.--Dmon (talk) 09:32, 30 May 2020 (EDT)
Kevin Coleman is the artist, but the problem is we don't know if he will be continuing to be used. I found the official banner of the magazine, we should use this. -- Wrangler (talk) 09:43, 30 May 2020 (EDT)

Various issues[edit]

I have removed the superfluous "Contents" chapter headers. Beyond that, I have two more major issues with this article as it currently is:

  • I don't like how the entire product infobox is repeated for every issue. There is hardly any data in the infobox to begin with, and what little is there is very repetitive. I suggest using the BattleTechnology article (or any other magazine article we have, really) as a template and simply give the cover under each new issue's chapter header.
  • I strongly disagree with treating non-story content as fiction. I agree that there should be article links to individual short stories, but I do not consider pieces like unit digests or in-universe news snippets worthy of having their own article. We're not doing this for the content of any other magazine either, and the resulting articles are stub-level empty. Unless someone can give a really good reaons why we should make individual articles like "Mother of Resistance" Dead on Vipaava, I shall delete those articles and put their content into this article. With regard to non-story content, I think a lot of those pieces could just link to their subject - TRO entries to the 'Mech/vehicle, unit digests to the unit, etc. -Tumult&Travail (talk) 08:37, 18 June 2022 (EDT)
Yes, if the subject matter has an article in place. Already in place for the Centurion variant, for example. Frabby (talk) 08:55, 18 June 2022 (EDT)
I think we should keep the infobox because even though the boxes are similar, I have just reviewed them and even though the lists of people involved is broadly similar from issue to issue the other info in the box changes with every single issue. On the subject of articles being wikilinks, if you look at the contents lists for issues 1 - 5 my initial loadouts only wikilinked the short stories, it is only as other people have taken over the duty it has drifted.--Dmon (talk) 12:21, 18 June 2022 (EDT)
