Royal Stuka STU-K5b[edit]

Question the blurb of the STU-K5b says this ASF is equipped with extended-range PPCs in the BattleTech Historical Operation Klondike while in the Record sheets Operation Klondike says it equipped with PPCs so which one is true?Knightsword2(talk) 18:16, 5 January 2020 (EST)

Hey Knightsword2 Welcome to the wiki,
If the two sources are saying different things the official line is "New trumps old" thus making the record sheets correct, but at the same time record sheets tend to be quite notorious for having minor problems like this so best case scenario is to check and see if CGL have released any errata (or raise it with them yourself), failing that it is worth simply putting a note in the article indicating that there is an unresolved discrepancy.--Dmon (talk) 05:56, 6 January 2020 (EST)

BattleTech 60 - The Dying Time[edit]

In the BattleTech novel "The Dying Time" by Thomas S. Gressman is a Stuka AeroSpace fighter that fires Arrow IV missiles at a PPR-5S Salamander belonging to the Defiance Self-Protection Force.— The preceding unsigned comment was posted by 93.133.3.49 (talkcontribs) 06:51, 8 September 2021‎ .

The Syke Rangers Stuka in the story is probably a common variant. AeroFighters can carry Arrow-IV missiles on their external bomb mounts. The rules for doing so can be found on page 171 of Tactical Operations: Advanced Units and Equipment. --GreekFire (talk) 12:54, 8 September 2021 (EDT)
