Tanala Dyson was President of Wynn's Roost for two terms in the thirty-first century.[1]

Tanala Dyson was one of the most popular and effective Presidents to govern the Periphery world of Wynn's Roost during the thirty-first and thirty-second centuries. Dyson's two-term tenure as President ran from 3059 to 3072, during which time the formation of the Raven Alliance by Clan Snow Raven and the Outworlds Alliance prompted considerable thought by the government of Wynn's Roost into how to respond in the event their world came into conflict with one or more of the Clans. Dyson was responsible for authoring the principle behind the response adopted by the Roosters, which was known as the "Dyson Doctrine". Representatives of any of the Clans who came to Wynn's Roost were treated with great politeness; in the event that the Roosters found themselves in direct conflict with Clan forces, the Rooster forces were to attempt to draw on those strengths they had - fighting in hostile terrain, or to fight duels using their battleships. Options for Trials were also developed that didn't involve direct conflict, under a contingency plan assigned the codename "Dance Off".[1]
