• If the subject of an article does not (clearly) fall under Canon, but is an official product that contains original additional information pertaining to the BattleTech universe, then the {{ApocryphalProduct}} tag should be included.

• Cut & Paste {{ApocryphalProduct}} into the lead section of a page, following any disambiguation link, but before other lead section contents.
