Purpose
The Unsigned template is used when one editor hopes to clarify who made a previously unattributed statement on a discussion page.
Usage instructions
- Copy and paste {{unsigned|Username}} after an unsigned comment on a discussion page, replacing Username with the actual user's name.
- or
- Copy and paste {{unsigned|Username|Optional comment}} after an unsigned comment on a discussion page, replacing Username with the actual user's name and Optional comment with whatever relevant, identifying statement may help clarify the poster's identification.
