I've come across the "First Prince Timeline" template transcluded on pages such as Marie Davion (24th c.) and Joseph Davion (27th c.). The template specifies "display:none" and "font-size: 0px", both of which ensure it's not displayed in the articles where it's invoked. Those articles also use the appropriate Succession templates, which is displayed and covers basically the same information.
