Previous RPG Systems[edit]

I was looking to update the Nolan and I ran into a question with the creatures infobox template. The stats from Hot Spots are the only I've seen so far. Those stats are from MW2ed. and those stat categories differ considerably from the current system. How can I show the (old) stats without breaking the infobox? Perhaps the Nolan has been updated and I am not aware, but surely there are other, older creatures that have not.--Cache (talk) 16:39, 9 September 2015 (PDT)

I'm not at all sure if we want/should present game stats. I guess it comes down to whether the focus of the Sarna BTW is on fluff or game rules. The problem I have is that game stats tend to become obsolete with new rules (for creatures anyways), and that it feels like giving away for free what CGL is trying to sell for money.
In any case, what can be done is to include a generic "Game stats" field in the infobox that lets users put in whatever text they wish. Then again, at that point it might be better to leave game stats out of the infobox altogether and tackle the issue within the article text under a "Game stats" header. I'm OK with removing game stats entirely. The option is currently there so I was trying to use it. I would like to suggest keeping traits, skills, and size (using the ATOW descriptions) so users can get an idea what the creatures are capable of without reading the entire article. Drop Str, Bod, Dex, Rfl, Int, Wil, Edg, Armor, Attack, and Movement from the template.--Cache (talk) 15:37, 10 September 2015 (PDT)
