Having Some Trouble Formatting this Table... Any Help Would Be Appreciated. Attempting to do a 4 Column Info Box with Clan Infantry, IS Infantry, Clan BA, & IS BA weapons.. --Cameron 22:42, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

What does this template do that Template:InfoBoxWeapon does not? Is this just repeated work? Why doesn't that template work for infantry weapons? --Scaletail 15:01, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
If I Could Figure it out it would do a Lot More. The Info Box for BattleTech Weapons has the information from only the BattleTech Game System and I am trying to build an info box that has the 3rd Edition Role Playing Game Stats as well as their Translation into BattleTech. At minimum i need to add rows for the RPG Damage (AP&D6), Burst Rating/Modifier, RPG range in Meters (Min, Short, Medium, Long, Extreme), the Tech (1 row), Era based Availability (1-3 Rows for Age of War/Succession Wars/3050+), Legality Rating (1 Row), etc. Tonnage/Mass could colocate with someone putting "kg" & "tons" as appropriate. --Cameron 15:25, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
I see. You're trying to get RPG stats in this one. I can see that. I modified the original weapon infobox to accommodate infantry weapon statistics for standard BT play. Maybe it would be better to use that one for CBT stats and this one for RPG stats only? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see this template and happier that you want to work on it, I just want to figure out what niche each of them fills. --Scaletail 15:36, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
well, getting closer, there is now a place for all the stats, and all 4 pages of single column data into 4 rows of less than a page, the only thing I am having to figure out is how to format the collums properly. This one works best for pistols, infantry long arms, infantry support weapons and the BattleArmour mounted variants of infantry support weapons... and if someone wants to make the obvious leap from BattleArmour Machine Gun to BattleMech Machine Gun, that is left up to the reader, as the canon wills it. WHEW, this was just slightly TOUGH. umm, i hate C and its derivitives--Cameron 03:15, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Single Collumn[edit]

Wondering if this wouldnt be more usable with multiple info boxes, say of a weapon Had an IS Infantry Support Weapon Variant, an IS BattleArmour Mounted Weapons Variant, and Clan models of both as well, then it would be 4 seperate InfoBoxes.
