• Two things:

1. Opinion?
2. Should project templates all be like this? If so, I could either write a CSS class for them, or a template to use in the creation of these templates. I know the former is the norm on wikipedia, likely so there is less work for the parser to do. Probably faster too, come to think of it.

I don't think that's what he meant. On a note on these sorts of templates, how about a template with a couple of variables to allow the easy creations of templates looking like this?--The General^T

Purpose: to be used in sigs to circumvent Subst.

Usage: in Special:Preferences in the Nickname field (as raw), for example:

Which becomes:
