Ty Van Trahn was the commanding officer of the Second Striker Battalion and aide to the commanding officer of the Nineteenth Cavalry Regiment as of 3062.[1]
History[edit]
Major Van Trahn, serving with the Nineteenth Cavalry Regiment, was stationed on Kittery in 3062. A recent recruit to the Eridani Light Horse, Van Trahn was originally the commander of the Twenty-first Centauri Lancers' Third Battalion and left that unit over a bitter disagreement with its commander. Making his way to Outreach, Van Trahn's meeting with the ELH's liaison lead to a quick talk with ELH High Command and the Light Horsemen were more than happy to accept an officer from a well-respected and honorable unit. Van Trahn immediately gained his current posting as executive officer to Colonel Paul Calvin and leader of the Nineteenth Cavalry's Second Striker Battalion.[1]
