Major General Ursula "The Ice Witch" Kauffman was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 152nd Jump Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]

History[edit]
A native of Tharkad in the Lyran Commonwealth, she was accused of being cold blooded due to her aggressive and violent approach to the terrorist campaign waged against her unit by Taurian Concordat backed bandits, giving rise to her nickname of "The Ice Witch". Her strategy, which went so far as to include offering herself as bait to draw out terrorists, was successful however.
Regardless of the controversies, Kauffman's loyalty to her troops was absolute, and this was returned in their loyalty to her.[1]
