I've been playing Battletech and MechWarrior in one form or another since 1987, and have a vast collection of technical readouts and sourcebooks spanning 30+ years. I write real world military history for a living, and actually learned my craft in the 1990s by reading the great FASA/Catalyst writers like Pardoe, Stackpole, Coleman, Lee, and others.

After reading the Wars of Reaving Sourcebook several years ago, I became an enthusiastic fan of Clan Goliath Scorpion, perhaps because its culture focused on preserving the past through historical research and archaeology, which aligns with my real life profession. It should be noted that I do not drink necrosia though or any other mind-altering or hallucinogenic substances. :)

When Pardoe recently published Forever Faithful and provided some additional depth to the Goliath Scorpions, I checked the various Sarna entries for the Clan's related topics and saw that most had not been updated in years. So I am taking it upon myself to do the updates, based on what new information is now available.

I am also a big fan of Pardoe's Betrayal of Ideals and may undertake updates on the various Clan Wolverine and Minnesota Tribe entries when I am done with the Goliath Scorpions.
