This is a demo of Dmon's New Avalon Article Tree page, but created by using Mermaid.js on a local HTML page.

But I've run into some limitations that I don't currently know how to overcome.

  1. CSS/Themeing: Obviously this looks pretty odd compared to the familytree output.
  2. Multidirection not supported? The "offshoots" (Head of State) aren't projecting to the right.
  3. Curvy lines instead of nice straight lines in live editor
  4. No links added

So this may be a lot more work than I thought.
