Victor Zelazni developed a vendetta against another Liao affiliated stable known as Tandrek Stables and his stablemaster Roger Tandrek. The vendetta brought the Stable on the edge of ruin, because the clashes with Zelazni was fought with no quarter in their duels.[1][2]
The ongoing fighting cost both sides many resources.[3] With the death of Roger Tandrek, the feud grew to a new level during the 3062 Solaris Riots where those clashes nearly left both Stables bankrupt.[4] Even in 3067 rarely a month went by without at least one Zelazni-Tandrek grudge match being fought in the arenas.[5]
He regards his personnel with respect and direct contracts. Known to and pay contracts on time.[3] After his feuds with Roger Tandrek and now with his daugther Robynn Tandrek, he still shows no sign of him yielding to the vendetta.[5]
Zelazni Stables purchased two Porcupine 'Mechs, becoming the first major stable to put this machine through its paces in real combat. Unfortunately, after a less-than-stellar performance by one during a recent grudge match between Zelazni and Tandrek stables, Victor Zelazni has reportedly started looking for anyone interested in taking the other Porcupine off his hands.[6]
