History

Vintain's Vigilantes were a mercenary unit in the employ of Free Worlds League. In 2920 they clashed with the reformed Marion's Highlanders regiment on Buenos Aires over two DropShips. The fighting between the evenly matched forces involved three separate encounters across half of the northern continent before the Highlanders trapped the Marik mercenaries. They offered to enlist the survivors in recognition of their skill and bravery, but the Vigilantes' commander declined and they were destroyed to the last man.[1]
