Vrkrin "Scuba" Wojadzinski was a MechWarrior in the Fifth Fusiliers of Oriente during the Jihad.[1]
History[edit]
While most MechWarriors who piloted BattleMechs that were prone to overheating knew to be on the lookout for bodies of water for use as coolant, Lieutenant (J.G.) "Scuba" Wojadzinski had turned this into an exact science. When in combat, Wojadzinski would maneuver his 'Mech into any available body of water before releasing as many of his weapons as possible, as quickly as possible. When this invariably caused his machine to overheat, Wojadzinski would simply submerge his 'Mech in the water and resurface for another barrage once his heat levels had fallen back to acceptable ranges. These tactics lead to his superiors ordering him to stop on numerous occasions, citing the damage caused by water corrosion and any underwater missteps leading to extreme maintenance times, but Wojadzinski pointedly refused to change his methods of fighting.[1]
