Walter Flostet was a military officer in the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth and was the commanding officer of the Achernar Sarna March Militia as of 3050.[2]

Leftenant General Flostet, serving with the Achernar SMM, was stationed on Achernar in 3050.[2] By 3062, now-Hauptmann-General Flostet continued to command the Achernar SMM on Achernar. Flostet shared a long-lasting friendship and common background with the commander of the Achernar PDZ, as they were both from New Hessen and both followed Pavel Ridzik when he defected to the Federated Suns during the Fourth Succession War. Though the units under the two officers' control were full of Federated Suns loyalists, both men seemed to be vying for supremacy in the region in order to create a Tikonov state.[1]
