Woody Lounsbury was the commanding officer of the Qanatir Melissia Theater Militia as of 3050.[2]

Leftenant General Lounsbury, serving with the Qanatir Periphery March Militia, was stationed on Qanatir in 3050.[2] By 3062, now-Colonel Lounsbury continued to command the renamed Qanatir MTM on Qanatir. Due to the Qanatir Militia's deployment on several worlds, Lounsbury was forced to plan operations on a scale not normally entrusted to a colonel. In many ways, Lounsbury was effectively the regional commander of the defunct Periphery March's Qanatir Command and became necessary for him to work closely with Mary Polk of the Neerabup MTM and Precentor Richard Pettigrew of ComStar's 214th Division in order to keep the peace. Unfortunately, despite the threat posed by pirate groups, Pettigrew and Lounsbury's personalities severely clashed, with the latter's laid-back behavior befuddling the prim and proper ComStar officer.[1]
After the Federated Commonwealth Civil War, Lounsbury continued to lead the Qanatir Militia on Qanatir as of 3067.[3]
