History
The XV Hastati Sentinels (or Fifteenth Hastati Sentinels) were heavily involved in the destruction of the re-formed Com Guards' First Division. They suffered serious losses during that fight, losing nearly an entire battalion of 'Mechs. They did, however, perform well. They were posted to Devil's Rock to rebuild, but this was a slow process as the commander wanted to have veteran troops under his command and didn't want to dilute their experience.[1]
The Fifteenth remained on Devil's Rock in 3145.[2]
On 18 January, 3145 the Fifteenth dropped on Castor and attacked the 328th Wolf Assault Cluster. They made the most of their assault, but were eventually forced onto the defensive. Within a week, the Republic sent the 5th Fides Defenders to reinforce the Fifteenth, and together they drove the Wolves off-world, costing the Cluster a full Trinary in the process.[3]
They were still on the world in 3150 when Clan Wolf returned. Facing the Golden Keshik, 4th Wolf Guard Battle Cluster, and 3rd Wolf Guard Battle Cluster. They inflicted heavy losses on the Clan forces, but the Fifteenth and Fifth were forced off-world.[4]
