Yeah, but are they still 3.67 mechs strong and the worst outfit ever ? Or has their luck finally improved ? I had ideas for a fiction based on the Hussars.

They're up to a battalion or so of 'Mechs and a mixed company of infantry and Drillsons... they had a few good runs during the FC civil war.

Crud, I was hoping to do a kind of Phoenix rising from the ashes story, before knocking them down a peg again ... The Hussars aren't the Hussars if they start looking like a real fighting force.

You could write a prologue where they loose most of the mech battalion in some kind of freak accident or maybe have them get mauled in a raid or something like that...
