So what if the WoB never actually ran off when the Jihad ended, say they were adsorbed by Stone's Republic and then said same Republic orders the Blackout...thoughts?

The behavior of Stone's Republic sometimes suggests that some WoBblies did stick around. There wasn't a general purge of Terrans, a good chunk of whom were sympathetic to WoB up to the final liberation of Terra.

I am think more then a few stuck around at all levels of leadership. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Republics military weren't simply reflagged WoB Militia units.
