And also hope to break the seeming run of bad luck the designs forebear seemed to suffer, This new version of the Tatsumaki, is designed for a faster speed thatn its forebear, capable of a thrust of 2.5g's at cruise and a overthrust of 4gs at flank speed. The designers also went back and try to correct the older designs faults mostly centered around its anti-missile arry, this was corrected at some small sacrifice to the other secondary weapons. The design was also further enhanced by the addition of a additional docking point to increase the ships capacity to either carry supplies or additional combat support in the form of a Assault Dropship. The one other great change to the new design is the increase of the ships Internal Structure to allow the placement of a heavier and more effective armor. All of this though came about at the sacrifice of the shis cargo capacity, but the 16,000 + tons still in the cargo section was deemed acceptable.
