Nope. You've taken mediocrity to a new...err...savannah 
When you said it would have an LGR, I sort of expected that to be in place of the LB-10X. Personally, I'd also have upgraded the ER Large Laser to an ER PPC and added Artemis IV to the LRM. The SRM would have gone to a Streak varaint, and I' have stripped the Large Pulse Laser out in favour of a bank of Medium Pulse Lasers. Any tonnage left over would have gone to Heat Sinks and Armour. What with the XL engine and all, I'd robably not worry about CASE either, if I was trying to make a maximum munch 'Mech. If I wanted it to be fluffy, though, I'd take the CASE.
Oh, yes. And in typical Marik fashion, I'dve removed all the leg armour and placed anything explosive there
Seriously, though, I'd not be caught dead in an Albatross. A Cerberus or Manta Ray all the way for the same tonnage

I actually like the Albatross despite its "battle prowess."
Normally I would say if I had designed something like this I would not have left the LRM 5. Yet it is annoying me a little too much and I simply want you to completely nix it and the ER large. Replace them with a Fusigon Longtooth ER PPC and a spare double heatsink.

Ummmm we are talking about Marik the place where PPCs are rarer than hen's teeth. A mech with a ER PPC would be either inefficient (due to immense supply problems) and just not logical. That was the whole idea behind the Awesome AWS-10M ... replace the ER PPCs with something they can have lots of. If it was any other faction though ... sure give it a ER PPC. I am restricted however to the area of manufacture.

A quick revision of the Albatross's firepower was requested and this is what the designers came up with:

Actually you should double check that. I've been stating my info based on croutoncommand at ncwebsurfer. Looking through their data on house production capabilities up till 3062 House Marik can't make PPCs. Er PPCs is all they can produce in their section of space.
Besides if you look at Marik mechs a lot of them use Fusigon Longtooths.
ER PPCs are a staple in Marik Designs just like Artemis equipped SRMs, pulse lasers and LRM special munitions.

Did you read the beginning of my Awesome splurge? (they wanted to keep away from ER PPCs due to supply problems with the Cappellans). They already have enough designs using ER PPCs, their limited production runs of the weapon would not be enough at this stage to supply new units as well as produce spares (hence they relied on Cappellan suppliers).

Well I designed within Marik specs for the mech, not what someone would classify as 'great mech dude'. Seriously though its only a minor upgrade on the original thus not totally losing its 'Albatross' feel to it
