Converting old Mechwarrior 1 RPG stuff to new RPG Systems

Okay, I have some stats for several body armor and power armor that my group was using way back in the day, found the old note books recently, and I was wondering if you guys had any luck in converting older stuff to the new system?

Nine Lives Mk3 Light Personal Armor:
Reduces by 1/2 all damage taken from slug throwing weapons and stops one point of energy damage. Absorbs 30 points of damage and protects the torso and limbs.

Phoenix LSA (Light Scout Armor).
Reduces by 1/2 all damage taken from slug throwing weapons and 5 points of energy weapon damage. Absorbs 30points of physical damage and is not effected by energy weapon damage. It protects the entire body. Protects the entire body. Helmet has Night Vision and Thermal Vision built in.


Empire Class Heavy Infantry Armor (ECHIA):
Reduces by 3/4 all damage taken from slug throwing weapons and 3 points of energy weapons damage. Protects the entire body. Adds +5MP to any movement on foot. Has 4 heat sinks, use Battletech heat scale. Comes with built in Night Vision and Thermals, has built in range finder and optics, to include a HUD.

Okay so can the above still work for the newer versions of the BT RPG or not?

50% damage from Slug-Throwers and Bows (Ballistic impact)
Stops 2 Damage points from Energy Weapons per hit

---25 damage points

Suit.
---40 damage points


RPG 2e Ablative/Flak
50% damage from Energy and Ballistic

Vest.
---20 damage points

Suit.
---35 damage points


RPG 3e Flack
1 vs Mele (stops 10%)
5 vs Ballistic (Stops 50%)
1 vs Energy (Stops 10%)
3 vs eXplosive (Stops 30%)
= 10 (Total Points)

Vest
Torso .3 * 1 = M .3 * 5 = B .3 * 1 = E .3 * 3 = X
------- .3 = M 1.5 = B .3 = E .9 = X
Total Points = 3 * (10) = 30


Suit
Torso .3 * 1 = M .3 * 5 = B .3 * 1 = E .3 * 3 = X
Arms .2 * 1 = M .2 * 5 = B .2 * 1 = E .2 * 3 = X
Legs .2 * 1 = M .2 * 5 = B .2 * 1 = E .2 * 3 = X
------ .3+.2+.2=M 1.5+2.5+2.5=B .3+.2+.2 = E .9+.6+.6=X
------ .7 = M 6.5 = B .7 = E 2.1 = X
Total Points = 10 * (10) = 100

Total Points = 3.9 * (13) = 50.7
