[off topic, real time strategy, browser games] "Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances Preview"

I just stumbled upon the following at rtsguru.com:

Hopefully the old core C&C game(play) turns out to be the main focus of the new Free-To-Play game while the cash shop part turns out to be a mere byproduct / necessary evil to help keep the servers up and running - and generate some revenue - as a byproduct -, too.
On the other hand, if the cash shop part turns out to be the main / sole focus and the core game play is no or too little fun I'll simply reactivate my old mothballed PC and start playing old school C&C again.
