Okay I will post my take on these mechs, mine are some what straight forward outtakes while a few are going a different path.
Slight edit...I went with mechs that they, the Clans, would have taken WITH them during the SLDF exodus from the Inner Sphere and the few that made shortly AFTER settling in the Pentagon Worlds region of space. Just thought I would keep it real in the sense that they would not be making IIC versions of the Hatchetman etc...not to say they can't but they would not start out with them...

I agree with your take, Karagin. I always wondered about the other star league mechs that weren't preserved by Comstar and weren't already made into IIC or C versions. I don't have the exact numbers, but just taking a look at all the level 2 mechs before the Exodus, there are at least ten or more that were not accounted for in either case, so it's nice to see your takes on IIC versions of mechs that never got to be canon but would have made sense if they had. I also agree with your feelings about IIC mechs after the initial invasion. At that point, IICing mechs simply because they don't have a version made yet is nice to see but unrealistic in terms of the history and politics of the Clans. C mechs after the invasion make much more sense as the Clans repurpose isorla and battlefield salvage to boost their forces away from the Pentagon World production lines.
I'll comment later on your Mercury and other IIC mechs. I want to make sure I know the original specs and purpose of each mech before I say anything foolish.

I know this took a while, but yup that Mercury IIC looks good. I personally wonder what would be affected if it kept the original fusion engine, but otherwise I wouldn't change a thing.

When the "UNNAMED CLAN"survivors fled from clan space with clan tech. It is plausiable, that they refitted their IS mechs to clan "C" models. Their 2nd line units that exscaped would have wanted to be "upgraded".
