Help identifying "mechs"
      #166058 - 08/29/12 02:21 PM (96.52.4.160)

Greetings gamers!

Not that long ago, a friend of mine handed me some battletech like miniatures, and asked if I could identify them. Try as I might, I can't for the life of me find out who makes them, or where they came from. All he remembers is buying them at a comic shop years ago. They don't look like any of the official Mechs I've ever seen over the years, that's for sure. I figure they must be knock offs, or some run of mini's I've yet to ever see.

I took some pictures of the things, just for laughs. Any chance any of you have seen these things before?

Okay the first one KIND OF looks like the Ral Partha original FALCON Battledroid/Battlemech.

The other two look like the Rifleman and a super locust. But I am thinking they are to another game or someone's home made take off of things BT.

Turns out they're Steel Warriors miniatures! Well that solves that. :3

Actually, they come from a company in England and they are generic, unaffiliated mechs. They cost about $2.50 apiece if I remember correctly. I bought some myself just to mess around with painting.
