You rebuilt, again, the LRM carrier on a 200 ton frame. Way to go.

Have you tried to do this with a 300 or 400 ton tank?
Why argue if the glass is half full or half empty, when you know someone is going to knock it over and spill it anyways.
I was a Major *pain* before
But I got a promotion.

Yay for promotions!!!

Well seeing as you can't build a 300 ton or 400 ton tank the answer would be no.
And really you don't gain anything with those weights.

The last I knew you could build anything that you could put an engine in. I guess the rules have been changed.

You can build SUPPORT VEHICLES over 200 tons, but they are not true COMBAT vehicles. Given that we have TWO rule sets to build vehicles and the second one allows you to turn your average civilian truck into a military vehicle ala adding armor and weapons which muddies the waters etc...they need to combine the two rule sets into one set that covers vehicles and offers something like civilian vs military frames like they do for dropships, but I have been told I am being unreasonable and beating a dead horse on this kind like was I told over my disbelief in how the Word Of Blake goes from nothing to Interstellar POWER in 21 years with the ability to out do everyone and be so good at it it blinds all...

The official rules don't currently support over 200 ton combat vehicles but that doesn't preclude using them It would seem going from a maximum of 200 tons to 300 or 400 tons, you would gain 100 or 200 tons...

Its called fiction pretending that something that would not and could never happen does happen. Like for example a thirty foot high target that has armor thinner than tissue paper having any chance what so ever to win over a relatively small target like a modern main battle tank that has armor getting close to a foot thick.

I get the fiction part, but even somethings go against common sense and logic that would be prevalent in the fictional universe.

No Kidding? Really? You don't say? If you would read the post I made AFTER the reply you would see I did indeed say that already.

This seems like a moving base more than anything...

Moving? I dont call being able to go at the maximum speed of 13 miles per hour much on moving. In 24 hours that thing would travel 322 miles. Artillery could take that out with out a problem.
At least the driver would not have to worry about running any people over, a man can run faster than that thing can move.

It's more a matter of rules than just fiction. There's never been a rule that says, "Whatever you can put an engine in, you can build."

Nor has there been a rule that say just because you can build it do so either.
