Overview
Jonathan Cameron's lofty goals of an invincible Hegemony came with a hefty price. The Member States, in order to approve the necessary tariffs and taxes, demanded that the HAF surrender its prized technologies to the hands of the House Lords. On paper, the Member States were promised a treasure trove of untold wonders. For the first time, a House military would have access to SLDF-grade hardware, which they devoured faster than it could be produced. What they got, however, was a carefully crafted ruse on behalf of House Cameron.

Although the House and Periphery armies made several important gains, the Hegemony profited the most from this corrupt bargain. Beginning in 2694, the SLDF slowly released the plans to several aging designs and opened trade with Terran manufacturers. The price tag on these highly-advanced machines was nearly double the rate paid by SLDF quartermasters. Even worse, many of the chassis being sold were ancient prototypes from the Reunification War; far less capable than their modern cousins.

Capabilities
The Warhammer's iconic frame was left nearly untouched since the time of the League's formation. The battle-tested array of weaponry remained the same, improved only by the addition of the Artemis-IV FCS. Armor protection was upgraded by the loss of a single heat sink and refitted with Leviathon's fibrous weave. Although it was an old composition which was prone to structural failures, the material had proven itself in live combat and was easily repaired with several strategic welds.

The biggest change came in the form of double-strength heat sinks; something the Houses were forbidden to possess before Jonathan's edict. Six prototype heat sinks, mothballed in caches since the Reunification War, were mounted onto the StarCorps chassis to increase heat dispersal. To lower production costs, the engine retained its original, low-grade tile-and-coolant system. This had the effect controlling the additional costs of long-distance transport while giving a marginal increase in efficiency.

Deployment
By the time the Houses realized they had been taken, over 6,000 of the prototype models had been sold across the Inner Sphere. In addition, several territorial manufacturers had purchased production licenses for the "upgraded" machine; licenses which were suspiciously low-cost.

Although the design's heat sinks and armor were of lesser quality compared to modern components, the design's performance was so impressive that many companies never bothered to alter the original plans. Consequently, an untold number of WHM-6Rt's were produce well into the 29th century. After the destruction of the last orbital facility capable of producing the endo steel necessary for the heat sinks' durable frame, the remaining chassis were either cannibalized for parts or repaired with low-tech alternatives.

hey look. A mech with a working spotlight.

With the possible exception of the lower arm actuator and the odd heat sink (11(23)) issue, are you just rehashing the original warhammer?

Never mind. Finally read the fluff. I like the concept..

3039? Think the date is wrong. The reunification war happened just before the star league fell.

Also, last line reads never mind. Finally read the fluff.
