It's a large land speeder. Luke should be flying by soon.
Actually, I have never heard of it in battle tech either. But with all the changes, it might be experimental tech.
Only other thing I can think of at the moment is iron man made an appearance. It is a tracked vehicle, so that is even more of a mystery. A hover craft might fit.

Nope, no such thing. But if it's just fluff for a hover system or jump jets that follow standard rules, it doesn't matter.

It is fluff for the hover system, we were having a design contest among some friends and I was watching SW, so yeah I went a bit with things, all fun and games. Trying for a hybrid vehicle sadly it never work to well. Three games and by turn three the AAT was out of the fight mainly due to mobility crits on the to hit table. I am thinking of redoing it and might go with something else but still fun to use.

The only way to make the hybrid vehicle work well would be to give it an artificial ever-present bonus similar to the armored motive system, in order to significantly reduce chances of getting "de-treaded". But that's a rules issue.
