I am really looking to start gaming again, but physical limitations make it hard to get out and game in a store, or even game for more than an hour staight. And we all know Battletech can take some time to play. So I am looking for anyone who would like to play by post and where on this site would you do that at? Currently, I have FASA 4th edition rules, and the 3050 TRO by FASA and only a few basic mapsheets, but lots of cardstock pieces.

By cardstock do you mean CCG cards?

No, I mean the cardboard figures that came with the base games. I'm sure 3rd edition is similar to 4th. We could work something out with that. Probably be easier to default to 3rd edition. I'd use 4th edition, but if you catch something different we would just use your rules.

A campaign would be pretty cool, but although I've played for years, I've been out of practice for the last 6 years, I'm not sure how to do a campaign. So if you would like to run a campaign, I wouldn't say no to that. Or we could just play a few battles until I'm back in the saddle again and then I could work on a campaign. And as far as a campaign, the more the merrier, if you know of anyone who would join, great! Make 'em play.

Yeah I have never played a campaign before, but I think that playing a few normal battles then a campaign would be good.

Great! We'll start with a normal game then. Do you know where we should post to do an actual game, or should we do email? Or would we just use the private messages here to play and post pictures?
